Mark your calendar for the morning of Thursday, October 16, for the unveiling of NRPA’s 2014 Parks Build Community initiative at Charlotte’s Lincoln Heights Neighborhood Park. Park planners with the Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department have been working all year with representatives from NRPA and sponsor companies to revitalize a great space with lots of potential in an underserved neighborhood. Congress attendees can catch a bus from the convention center to the unveiling.
