Those of us at NRPA, stand united with the entire park and recreation field in addressing the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak directly affecting communities all over the world.
We realize you have questions about the potential impacts that coronavirus (COVID-19) may have on NRPA’s upcoming conference. Please know that NRPA is monitoring the situation very carefully, and we pledge to provide you the most up-to-date information available.
Currently, there are no changes to the 2020 NRPA Annual Conference set to take place in Orlando, Florida, October 27–29, 2020. Rest assured, the NRPA team is working diligently to produce another great conference experience for our members, partners, exhibitors and sponsors.
We understand that the situation regarding COVID-19 is rapidly changing. What’s more, NRPA is committed to following the recommended guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) — especially as they relate to events and mass gatherings. The health, well-being and safety of our members, vendor community and staff remain our highest priority. As this situation evolves, we will share any important updates about the conference that may assist you in the planning and decision-making process moving forward.
This is an extremely difficult time for everyone; however, NRPA will be there to help our exhibitors, sponsors, advertisers, members and funders navigate the challenges ahead. Most importantly, we proudly support our park and recreation professionals in their efforts to meet the needs of their respective communities now and well into the future.
