Education session proposals now being accepted
Ashburn, Va. (November 1, 2016) — The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is proud to announce that it will be adding an aquatics track at the 2017 NRPA Annual Conference, Sept. 26-28, in New Orleans. After careful review of previous conference attendee surveys and session attendance records, the NRPA Conference Committee approved the addition during the 2016 NRPA Annual Conference in St. Louis.
With this new addition, NRPA will offer a wide variety of technical, programming, revenue development, health, wellness, and social equity sessions focused on aquatics. Pre-conference workshops will be available, as well, along with popular leadership, management, budgeting, programming, and maintenance courses.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to attend an annual in-person network meeting and interact with aquatics vendors in the exhibit hall. When pre-conference workshops are added, attendees will be able to spend five full days focused on aquatics education and networking. There are more than 10 education tracks to choose from at the conference.
NRPA is seeking education session proposals from qualified presenters now until Nov. 18.
