Health and Safety Guidelines
NRPA regards the health and safety of our attendees and our staff as our highest priority.
Health & Safety Protocols
In order to keep our in-person conference attendees, exhibitors and staff safe, NRPA will:
- Require proof of up-to-date vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test*, within 72 hours of arrival/check-in (see below)
- Strongly encourage attendees to wear face masks indoors to protect yourself and others from getting sick
- Encourage attendees to keep physical distance in gathering places and events as best as possible
NRPA also asks all attendees to abide by our Personal Accountability Commitment:
- By registering and attending the NRPA Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, participants agree to abide by and engage in specific health and safety protocols and beneficial conduct while attending the event. NRPA is also monitoring the latest CDC guidance mitigation strategies and will keep attendees updated on any necessary changes to our event protocols, which may include steps such as: submitting to daily health screenings and temperature checks; always wearing a mask in public areas; engaging in appropriate physical distancing behaviors; and not attending the event if you feel ill or have been recently exposed to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

*Coronavirus (COVID-19) Vaccination Policy
To ensure attendee safety, NRPA will require proof of up-to-date vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test or Antigen at-home test kit with associated observation reporting apps, within 72 hours of your arrival/check-in at the conference for all in-person attendees, staff, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, volunteers and speakers. The information must include valid details like your name, date of the test, and the medical results of the test.
At this time (9/6/2022), the recommendation from the CDC is that all adults ages 18 years and older are considered up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines when you have received all doses in the primary series and boosters recommended for you, when eligible. NRPA realizes this is a moving target as new boosters are released. As of 9/6, we will recognize “up-to-date” as all doses in the primary series and at least one booster if eligible. For more information on this, please click here.
The upload link is open to submit an up-to-date vaccination card.
Complete Pre-Screen
Please note: You will need to bring a copy of your verification confirmation onsite (printed or on your phone) to pick up your badge.
If an attendee does not wish to upload their information or forgets in advance, they can show proof onsite as well, but may experience wait times upon arrival.
- Acceptable proof of vaccination is an official CDC vaccination card with all information (name/date/dose details). Acceptable test result is a negative PCR test OR the observation report of a negative Antigen at-home test result with associated observation service. Results for tests must include valid details (name/date/medical results).
Health screening services will be available in person. NRPA is pleased to partner with the Ardian Group to provide two new options this year:
- Monitored pre-conference tele-testing services by appointment only ($165 PCR test or $45 Antigen test options are available)
- Walk-up onsite testing service – no appointment needed** ($165 PCR test or $45 Antigen options will be available)

What if I get sick after August 19 and can no longer attend?
If you are not feeling well or are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, you should not attend the conference in person.
You can change your in-person attendance to the virtual conference. The virtual conference is a great way to earn CEUs and participate in live streamed education sessions. (Note if this option is requested on or before Friday, August 19, 2022, a refund for the difference between the in-person and virtual events will be provided. No refund will be provided for the difference between the in-person and virtual event after the Friday, August 19, 2022, cut-off).
